The first edition of the book sold out in less than 6 months and immortalized this mythical figure in the Brazilian alternative culture. Nene Altro arouses a wide variety of feelings in people, both for his artistic talent (which remains marginalized) and for his intense and abusive lifestyle. He got what thousands are trying to get and very few can: by himself, he imprinted his name in the history of Brazilian rock, and particularly, in punk rock and the alternative culture.

Edições Ideal's first international release is "Não Devemos Nada A Você - Punk Planet: Coletânea de Entrevistas" (originally: We Owe You Nothing - Punk Planet: The Collected Interviews"). The book was first released in 2001 via Akashic Books, and was rereleased in 2007 with bonus material.
